Save Reaper For A Second Season!!
Posted on April 30, 2008 by Gel under Reaper News
I'm sure you've all seen the latest episode of Reaper that aired tonight, so hopefully it'll motivate you to want to save the show. Thankfully the lovely people at Krakoom.Com have devised a sweet campaign to get the CW to renew for a second season. If Jericho fans could do it, then I'm sure Reaper fans can too! Here's what they had to say:
For those of you unfamiliar with hackneyed, Hollywood cliches, that means it could sink or swim, it’s on the fence, it could go either way, they could take it or leave it, it’s six of one, a half dozen of the other, what goes up, must come down, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and, of course, a penny for your thoughts.

What that also means is that YOU, the loyal Reaper enthusiasts and proud Bret fans have to BOMBARD the CW with emails and letters and phone calls or anything else you think might be convincing. We’re not suggesting a Jericho-like barrage of peanuts to be sent to the CW offices, but perhaps a Jericho-like barrage of peanuts sent to the CW offices would do the trick. Only instead of peanuts (also hackneyed) how about something a little more original and a lot more appropriate for the show. We’re thinking… socks!

If you’re interested, here is the CW’s address:

The CW
ATTN: Executive in charge of Reaper
411 North Hollywood Way
Burbank, California 91505

The LA Times article is located here. The Cw would have to be a little dumb to not renew the show in my opinion..

Deal Trailer + Information!
Posted on March 16, 2008 by Gel under Bret News
I just got sent an email about Bret's movie, Deal. You can check out all you need to know about the movie right below!
Official Sypnosis

Set against the world of high stakes poker, DEAL follows the story of Alex Stillman (Bret Harrison), a cocky, hotshot, card-playing senior at Yale University. Alex dreams of becoming a professional Texas Hold’em poker player but does not yet have the skill to master the table. Fortunately for him, a chance encounter introduces Alex to retired poker legend, Tommy Vinson (Burt Reynolds). Tommy was at the top of his game twenty years ago but gave it all up in order to save his family.

Upon meeting Alex, Tommy realizes he can regain his own self-confidence, pride and a poker championship title by turning Alex into his protégé. The two pair up and master every tournament they enter. The winning streak and friendship between the two is eventually thwarted by the interference of a Las Vegas call girl, Michelle (Shannon Elizabeth). The pair eventually part ways and separately prepare for the World Poker Tour. Only one will take home the championship title.

You can view the official site at DealTheMovie.Com and view the trailer here. I'll get a downloadable one on the site soon along with caps from the trailer.

The state of Reaper
Posted on March 01, 2008 by Gel under Reaper News
Found this gem from Yahoo.com via the IMDB Reaper boards. Let's all cross our fingers that Reaper gets a second season because he effing deserves one! Also, I have a ton of images of Bret to add to the gallery, so be patient because they'll be added soon.
The supernatural dramedy that turned an otherwise loser into a savior of the world as a "Reaper" working for the Devil still has three more pre-strike episodes to air. Fans will be even happier to know that "Reaper" is expected to shoot five additional episodes to begin airing on 4/22. Despite the episode order, Ausiello says, "Creatively, it failed to live up to the lofty expectations it set in the flawless pilot. And the ratings? Hellish."

Reaper ordered for more episodes!
Posted on February 15, 2008 by Gel under Reaper News
The CW’s post-strike plans for the remainder of the season began to take shape Monday with the network asking for about five or six more episodes of dramas Reaper, Gossip Girl, Smallville, Supernatural and One Tree Hill.

The network expects to have new episodes ready in April, while the comedies could return in March. For instance, The CW should end up with about eight or nine more episodes of The Game.

Everybody Hates Chris and Aliens in America (which had produced 18 episodes already) are also set to return.

The network won’t be asking for additional episodes of Life Is Wild, which doesn’t bode well for its future.

The CW will also look at some sort of a send-off for Girlfriends, which was expected to wrap this season but never prepared a series finale prior to the strike.
